Helped with my student loans

So I had these private student loans bugging me for ages. Heard about National Debt Relief and figured I'd check it out. They did a free analysis and walked me through how their Private Student Loan Relief works. Everything felt pretty chill, no crazy pressure. They got it all sorted for less than I owed. Good experience, would recommend.

Detailed program review

I joined the Unsecured Debt Resolution program for various debts. The initial consultation was thorough, explaining how their performance-based fee structure works. Documentation submission was easy via their portal. Communication from the support team was regular, though I did have to follow up once regarding a specific creditor. They successfully negotiated several debts, significantly reducing my overall burden. It took about 20 months for all my accounts to be settled, which was within the timeframe they estimated. Definitely a solid option for debt relief.

Consistently helpful program

I've used National Debt Relief for a couple of different debt situations over the years. This last time, for some credit card debt, was just as straightforward as the first. The process is clear, and they really do help negotiate down the amounts. It's why I keep coming back when I need help. They deliver.

Decent program, some delays

I enrolled in the Debt Settlement Program for some personal loan debt. The initial setup was quick, and the free debt analysis was helpful. The team was responsive when I had questions. However, one of the settlements took a bit longer than I expected, which was a little frustrating. Overall, though, they did reduce my debt, so it was worth it.

Hey, wondering how long this whole debt relief thing takes with National Debt Relief? Like, average time until I'm actually done?

S Sarah Wright 1 month ago
From what I heard, it's not super quick. I think they say it can be anywhere from 2 to 4 years, depending on your situation and how much debt you have.

Yeah, a friend used them and it took them about 3 years for all their credit card stuff to get sorted. It's definitely a process, not an overnight fix.

Are there any upfront fees with National Debt Relief? Like, do I have to pay them before they even start negotiating?

S Stephanie Moore 1 week ago
Nah, they don't charge upfront. You only pay them once they've actually settled a debt for you. It's a performance-based fee, so if they don't settle anything, you don't pay 'em.

Nope, no upfront fees. They do a free consultation and estimate, and you only pay a percentage of the debt once it's successfully settled, which is pretty fair imo.

Does National Debt Relief work for private student loans? Not the federal ones, just private lenders.

M Michelle Lee 1 week ago
I'm pretty sure they do. I know their site mentions private student loans specifically as something they can help with. Federal ones are usually different because of government rules.

Yeah, I looked into it last year and they definitely said they can work on private student loans. It's one of their listed services, so you should be good.

Thinking about using NDR, but I'm worried about my credit score. Does this tank it even more or what?

J John Wilson 1 month ago
It can hit your credit score initially, yeah. Because you're stopping payments to creditors, which shows up as missed payments. But then it can improve as debts get settled.

My score dipped for a bit when I started but it slowly started climbing back up after a year or so as the accounts closed out. It's not a permanent ding, just something to be aware of.
